The Department for Public Relations is AStA’s information service to the public: to you – the students, to the press, to the faculties and to other institutions of the decision-making student body.
Their scope of duties is diverse: from maintaining the homepage’s content to writing and sending out press releases or holding press conferences. Other duties include writing and creating the layouts for publications and flyers as well as the organisation of events in cooperation with other departments.
Once every term, AStA e.g. opens their doors for you to get to know the General Students’ Committee and its work better. To always stay up to date and know what is currently happening in Münster, Germany and in the rest of the world, we daily sift through various media. The homepage keeps you informed on what is happening right now at AStA, which topics we are currently tackling and which projects we are supporting. It is therefore worthwhile to regularly check www.asta.ms. Of course, we also use social media such as Facebook.
